Preksha Kumar

Preksha Kumar has over 12 years of experience in the field of 3D animation and lighting. Preksha is currently working at The Mill as a Lead Asset Artist, where they started in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Artist - Asset at The Mill from June 2021 to January 2022. In 2021, they worked briefly as a Lead 3D Artist at BYJU'S from January to March. Their earlier experience includes working at Rolling Dice Studios Pvt Ltd. as a 3D Texturing and Lighting Artist from 2013 to 2020, Ideal Studio Works as a 3D lighting and texture artist from March to October 2012, Animation and Art School Goa as a 3D Lighting and Texture Artist and Faculty from September 2010 to July 2011, SLK as a 3D Lighting and Texture Artist from April to July 2010, and Ittina Animation Studios as a Lighting Artist from March 2009 to February 2010. Preksha has worked on various projects including television commercials, online marketing videos, in-house projects, short films, and pilots. Their expertise includes generating high-quality texture maps, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring optimal quality of work.

Preksha Kumar completed a Degree Foundation in Bachelor of Visual Arts (B.V.A) from Chitrakala Parishath (College of Fine Arts) from 2005 to 2007. Following that, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Diploma in Advance 3D Lighting and Texturing from TAKSHAA Academy for the artist.
