Rick Borges

Rick Borges has extensive experience in various roles within financial regulation, strategy, assessment, and accreditation. Rick is currently the Managing Director of Financial Regulation at Thentia. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Strategy and Director of Assessment at the Financial Services Culture Board. From 2016 to 2021, Rick held the position of Head of Assessment at the Banking Standards Board, where they played a crucial role in improving banking standards. Rick also worked as an Assessment Manager at the same organization. Before their role at the Banking Standards Board, Rick was the Accreditation Manager at the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. Rick has also worked as a Private Secretary at the UK Department of Health and as a Deputy Operations Manager at the National Information Governance Board for Health and Social Care.

Rick Borges has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs, which they obtained from Universidade de Brasília from the years 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a LL.M (Masters of Law) degree in International Trade Law from the University of Wales, Cardiff, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. Rick then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at The University of Law from 2009 to 2011.
