William Taverner

William Taverner, currently the Principal Scientist at Theolytics since February 2020, specializes in developing oncolytic viruses for treating challenging cancers. Prior to this role, William worked as a Senior Scientist at the University of Oxford, focusing on oncolytic adenoviral therapies during their DPhil candidacy. William also has experience as a Consultant Scientist at MacrophOx, and as an Education Lead at Science Innovation Union. William holds a Ph.D. in Synthetic Biology from the University of Oxford and a MBiol in Genetics from the University of Leeds. Throughout their career, William has been dedicated to advancing scientific research and education.
