Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at Therapy Notes

Jon Zelenak has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jon is currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at TherapyNotes, LLC since June 2021. In this role, they lead the Platform team and is responsible for developing fundamental libraries, platforms, services, and templates used by other development teams. Jon utilized various technologies such as C#, .Net, Blazor, Azure services, and Git to replace a legacy ASP.NET application, resulting in a significant performance improvement and a more stable and extensible application.

Prior to their role at CommVault, Jon worked at Premier Prizm Solutions as a Software Engineer from May 2011 to May 2013. Jon gained recognition for quickly adapting to the complex aspects of a large System of Systems infrastructure.

Jon also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Sensor Technologies Inc. (STI) from February 2002 to May 2011. In this position, they utilized technologies such as ASP.NET, SQL Server, C#, AJAX, jQuery, and SharePoint to develop n-tier architecture solutions.

Before STI, Jon worked as a Systems Engineer at Sovereign Technologies LLC from June 1997 to January 2002. Jon was responsible for the design and implementation of an application that displayed the geo-referenced location of equipment within a facility. Jon successfully improved system accuracy, reduced manufacturing costs, and incorporated wireless modems to eliminate the need for communication cables.

Jon's career began at EPS Corporation in October 1994, where they served as a Software Engineer. Jon played a crucial role in designing and developing a Windows-based application supporting the Army's I-REMBASS system. Jon also developed unique code for reading and depicting digitized maps and elevation data.

Lastly, Jon worked at D. K. Dixon & Co. as a Software Engineer from January 1990 to October 1994. Jon was solely responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for an Automated Test Set used to test the Air Force's Minute Man Guided Missiles. Jon utilized HP-BASIC and ATLAS to develop the controlling software and test language scripts.

Throughout their career, Jon has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies. Jon has a strong track record of developing high-performance and stable applications while adapting to complex infrastructures.

Jon Zelenak earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Western New England University, completing their studies from 1985 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Jon has obtained various certifications in the field of technology.
