Sanjoy Kumar Das

Sanjoy Kumar Das, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Sanjoy Kumar is currently serving as the Director at Theratechnologies Inc. since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Drug Discovery Platform Manager at The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre from June 2015 to December 2021.

Before joining The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, they served as the Associate Director at AngioChem Inc. from May 2013 to May 2015. Sanjoy Kumar also worked as a Research Fellow at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from March 2009 to May 2013.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Das held the position of Research Scientist and Group Leader at ViroChem Inc. from April 2004 to March 2009. Sanjoy Kumar also served as a Research Scientist at Biochem Pharma from August 2000 to January 2004.

Dr. Das began their career as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Ottawa from March 1998 to July 2000. Sanjoy Kumar also gained valuable experience as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Ecole normale supérieure, where they worked under the supervision of Prof. P. Sinay from February 1996 to February 1998.

Sanjoy Kumar Das, Ph.D. completed their education in the field of chemical technology. Sanjoy Kumar obtained their Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. After completing their doctoral degree, they pursued post-doctoral research positions. From 1996 to 1998, they worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Ecole normale supérieure. Subsequently, from 1998 to 2000, they conducted further post-doctoral research at the University of Ottawa.
