Jomar Colao

Jomar Colao has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jomar began their career in 2009 as a Technical Support Representative at Qualfon. In 2011, they worked as a Java Trainer at Call Center Academy. Jomar then joined Trax Technologies in 2011 and held various positions including Rules Developer, Flow Analyst, Agile Scrum Product Owner, Global Project Manager, and Project Lead. In 2017, Jomar joined Excelym, LLC as a Project Manager, where they ensured the successful delivery of software development projects. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Scrum Master/Project Manager at CoInspect, collaborating with the US-based leadership team to manage project timelines and communicate status updates. Jomar also gained teaching experience at the University of Cebu, where they served as a College IT Instructor and Community Extension Coordinator. In 2022, they became the General Manager at Therma°, overseeing daily operations and implementing growth strategies. Currently, Jomar holds the position of Director of Asia Pacific Operations at Therma°.

Jomar Colao has a strong educational background in the field of Information Technology and Computer Science. Jomar obtained a Bachelor's degree from the University of Cebu - Banilad Campus in 2006, specializing in Information Technology. In 2007, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Cebu, which they completed in 2009.

Continuing their professional development, Jomar Colao obtained several certifications in various subjects related to data analysis and programming. In 2015, they completed certifications in "Exploratory Data Analysis," "Getting and Cleaning Data," "R Programming," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Verified Certificates. Additionally, in 2019, they obtained the certification in "Introduction to Operational Metrics" from Opus Global Solutions, Inc.

Looking to expand their knowledge, Jomar Colao is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Information System from Silliman University, starting in 2022.
