Prasad Chandragiri

Prasad Chandragiri has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Prasad began their career as a Management Trainee at MECON Limited in 1987, followed by a position as an Assistant Executive Engineer at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, where they gained hands-on experience in plant operations and troubleshooting. Prasad then joined Thermax Ltd as a Proposals Manager, where they worked for over 14 years before transitioning to M.E Energy Pvt. Ltd as the VP of Technology, where they successfully created the Waste Heat Recovery systems market in India. Prasad later joined Sterling and Wilson as the Head of Technology and Engineering for Alternate Fuels, where they spearheaded strategic initiatives and developed power plants based on fossil fuels and renewables. Most recently, Prasad has been working at Thermax Limited as the Head of Innovation at the Projects & Energy Solutions Business Unit, focusing on creating differentiation and growth through the use of new and sustainable technologies.

Prasad Chandragiri started their education in 1977 at Modern School in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi, where they completed their primary education. From 1983 to 1987, they attended the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Chemical Engineering. Later, from 1995 to 1998, Prasad pursued a Master's degree in Marketing at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.

Prasad Chandragiri also obtained additional certifications in their professional career. In 2013, they became a Certified Data Centre Professional from EPI/EXIN. Prasad also earned the certification of Certified Auditor for ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, although specific details regarding the institution and the year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
