Antonio García

Antonio García has had a varied and successful career in design. In 2020, they took on the role of Head of Design at TXI, where they are responsible for defining the design vision and strategy, project leadership, team mentorship, and supporting the growth and evolution of the studio. In 2019, they founded Dadwell & Co., where they serve as executive producer and host of The Dadwell Podcast. In 2018, they became a Design Leader Forum Member at InVision. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University, a Designer in Residence at the Segal Design Institute, a Group Experience Director at Rightpoint, a Visiting Design Director at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas, and a VP, Portfolio Lead at Northern Trust Corporation. From 2010 to 2017, they were an Associate Partner at gravitytank. In 2005, they co-founded Good Night, TV! and from 2013 to 2017 they were an Adjunct Professor at the IIT Institute of Design.

Antonio García received their BFA in Communication Design - Advertising from the Savannah College of Art and Design between 1997 and 2001. In 2007, they completed a Certificate from Harvard Business School in AIGA Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders.
