Claudia Harrington

Claudia Harrington serves as Vice President and General Counsel for the Pharma Services Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific since January 2020, following a role as Senior Corporate Counsel from November 2017. Previously, Claudia held the position of Chief Legal Officer at Banner Life Sciences from February 2012 to July 2020, where responsibilities included providing legal counsel on pharmaceutical product matters as part of the Management Team. Claudia also served as Senior Director of Legal Services and Deputy Chief Corporate Compliance Officer at Patheon from December 2012 until its acquisition by Thermo Fisher Scientific in August 2017. Earlier experience includes roles as U.S. Legal Counsel and U.S. Commercial Attorney at NOVA Chemicals (2007-2012) and various internships and associate positions in law firms. Claudia earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Allegheny College.
