Ding Ming

Ding Ming, PhD, served as SVP & GM of China Operations at the Clinical Research Group of Thermo Fisher Scientific since December 2021, leading over 1,400 healthcare research and development professionals. Previously, Ding was VP & GM for PPD China Operations, managing a team of more than 1,300 and achieving recognition as one of the Best Workplaces in Greater China™ and Asia™. Additional roles include leading global R&D operations at Emergent BioSolutions and US Pharmacopeia, with significant contributions to product innovation and clinical research at GlaxoSmithKline, Boehringer Ingelheim, Schering-Plough, Pfizer, and Novartis. Educational credentials include a PhD in Animal Health & Biomedical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and postdoctoral research fellowships at New York University and Harvard Medical School.
