Dr. Frank Gerlach

Dr. Frank Gerlach is an experienced category and product manager in the life sciences and laboratory consumables sector. Currently serving as the Category Manager for Consumables at Thermo Fisher Scientific since September 2010, Dr. Gerlach is responsible for managing European relationships with suppliers and overseeing the laboratory glassware portfolio. Prior roles at Thermo Fisher include developing business plans as the Commercial Product Manager and managing the consumable portfolio for Central Europe. Earlier experience includes a position at awenydd diagnostics GmbH focused on technical marketing and product management, as well as a postdoctoral role at Universität Hamburg where Dr. Gerlach taught and managed research operations. Dr. Gerlach holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, complemented by a diploma in Biology from the same institution.
