Elizabeth Woo, Ph.D., currently serves as the Vice President and General Manager of Cell and Gene Therapy at Thermo Fisher Scientific, a position held since December 2003, and has also held multiple leadership roles within the company focused on corporate collaborations and strategic client relationships. With a background in marketing and business development at Cellomics, and experience as an instructor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School, Elizabeth has extensive experience in the biotechnology sector. Additionally, Elizabeth serves on the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse and contributes to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. Elizabeth earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University.
