Melissa Lostracco

Melissa LoStracco is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial management and scientific fields. Currently serving as the Commercial Director for Human Identification at Thermo Fisher Scientific since November 2017, Melissa oversees all commercial activities and leads sales, business development, and application scientist teams in North America. Prior roles include Senior District Sales Manager and Genetic Analysis Solutions Representative at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where Melissa focused on driving sales and consulting with government researchers. Additionally, Melissa has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry as an Executive Sales Representative for Eli Lilly and Company, where responsibilities included promoting diabetes products. Early in the career, Melissa gained expertise in forensic science as a Forensic Scientist Manager for the Maryland State Police, managing a team and overseeing significant grant projects. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Forensic Science and Technology from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University at Buffalo.
