Orlando Cruz

Orlando Cruz is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Manager of Project Engineering at Thermo Fisher Scientific since April 2020. Prior roles include Reliability Engineer and Maintenance Manager within the same organization. Cruz briefly worked as a Maintenance Planner at Covanta and as a Maintenance Supervisor at WORLD CLASS DISTRIBUTION, INC. A distinguished career in the US Navy spanned over two decades, where Cruz held the positions of Senior Chief Electricians Mate and Chief Electricians Mate, managing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems for naval ships and overseeing a team of 82 sailors. Additionally, Cruz served as the Maintenance Material Management Coordinator for LCS Squadron Two, leading maintenance operations for Littoral Combat Ships.
