Yao Jiang

Yao Jiang, Ph.D., serves as the Senior Manager of Strategy & Business Development in the Life Sciences Group at Thermo Fisher Scientific since September 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Manager at Bain & Company from August 2021 to July 2024, where Yao Jiang led transformative AI initiatives, designed corporate strategy frameworks, and managed significant pharma mergers and acquisitions. Yao Jiang also contributed to private equity buy-side due diligence, focusing on market analysis for various deals. A former Graduate Researcher at the University of California San Diego from September 2015 to June 2021, Yao Jiang published 16 papers in high-impact journals. Educational accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology for cancer immunotherapy from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
