Roberto Kuahara

Roberto Kuahara has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the operations and continuous improvement field. Roberto is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Thermon, Inc. Prior to this, they held positions such as the Vice President of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Value Chain Excellence, and HSE at SPM Oil & Gas, and the Divisional Vice President of Operations, Value Chain Excellence, and HS&E at Weir Engineering Services. Roberto also served as the Executive Vice President of Operations & Continuous Improvement and Executive Vice-President of Continuous Improvement, Quality, EH&S, and Special Projects at Weir SPM. In addition, they worked as the Global Director of Continuous Improvement / Interim Managing Director at CIRCOR International, Inc. - Energy Group and held various managerial roles in continuous improvement and manufacturing at Dana Corporation and Ford Motor Company. Early in their career, they gained experience at Volkswagen and Saab-Scania Sweden in quality, operations, manufacturing, supplier quality, technical assistance, and product engineering.

Roberto Kuahara completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 1984 to 1989. Roberto pursued further education in the field of Business Administration, completing a Post Graduation program at Unifesp - Universidade Federal de São Paulo in 1998. In 2003 and 2004, they attended Universidade Federal da Bahia for a Post-Graduation program specializing in Management of People. Additionally, in 1991, Roberto briefly studied Robotics Development and Application at Tampere University of Technology in Finland. Before their higher education, they studied at Colegio Sao Luis.
