Rahul Patel

Rahul Patel has extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Rahul started their career in 2007 at Elan Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where they held various positions including Tech Lead and Business Analyst. Rahul also worked at Desire2Learn as a Software Developer.

In 2012, Rahul joined Abelsoft as a Software Developer, where they developed mobile applications and worked on research projects, implementing new technologies such as Automated Short Message System and Automated Voice Calling System.

Rahul later worked as an iOS Developer (Consultant) at Time and Money Billing Systems.

In 2014, Rahul joined Pelmorex Media Inc. as a Mobile Developer and was responsible for designing the architecture of the Traffic Prob Data System for The Weather Network Mobile App.

Rahul then joined BBM as a Software Engineer Lead and was responsible for developing an Ad Module that served ads to millions of Android users. Rahul also refactored legacy code and set up Jenkins for continuous integration.

Most recently, Rahul worked at theScore as Director of Engineering, Mobile and was later promoted to Director of Engineering, Client Platforms. In these roles, they were responsible for managing and mentoring teams of Android developers, growing the team size, and creating a reusable components-based architecture.

Throughout their career, Rahul has demonstrated strong expertise in mobile development, architecture design, and team leadership.

Rahul Patel completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from S. P. University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Later, in 2011 to 2012, they attended Mohawk College and earned an Advance Diploma in Software Development.
