Rohan Gandekar

Rohan Gandekar has a diverse work experience starting from 2010. Rohan began their career as a Co-op at Joshi and Sahney Chartered Accountants and worked there from August 2010 to August 2013. Following that, they joined CRISIL Limited (S&P Global) as an Analyst in July 2015 and worked there until February 2018. In October 2018, they joined TD as an Operations Officer and stayed there until August 2019. Rohan then moved to Scotiabank and served as a Service Officer from September 2019 to October 2020, eventually being promoted to the role of Senior Service Officer from October 2020 to May 2021. Currently, they are working at theScore as a Financial Analyst, starting in May 2021, and was subsequently promoted to Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting from March 2022 to May 2023. Rohan is currently serving as the Manager, Accounting at theScore from May 2023 onwards.

Rohan Gandekar began their education in 2009 at Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance. Rohan completed this program in 2011. In 2008, they enrolled at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained a Chartered Accountant degree. This program focused on finance, accountancy, audit, and taxation, and they completed it in 2015.

From an additional certifications perspective, Rohan obtained The Complete SQL Bootcamp certificate from Udemy in September 2019. In 2020, they pursued various online courses and certifications. Rohan completed Tableau 10 A-Z: Hands-On Tableau Training For Data Science, Tableau 10 Advanced Training: Master Tableau in Data Science, and Financial Modeling and Valuation, all from Udemy in April 2020. In the same year, in August, they completed Business Analysis Foundations from LinkedIn Learning. Rohan also obtained a Python for Finance: Investment Fundamentals and Data Analytics certificate from Udemy in February 2020. Additionally, in February 2021, they acquired a QuickBooks Certification from LinkedIn Learning.

Regarding professional certifications, Rohan joined the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) to pursue a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation. Their specialization in risk management spanned an unspecified end year in 2019. Continuing with their professional development, they also participated in CPA Ontario and CPA Canada programs in 2020-2021 to enhance their knowledge in accounting and finance, audit, tax, management accounting, strategy, and governance.
