Cerys Owen

Cerys Owen has a diverse work experience across various industries.

Starting in 2007, they gained work experience at HM Revenue & Customs. In 2012, they worked as an intern at James and Uzzell Accountants.

In 2013, Cerys worked as a Warehouse Associate at Amazon for a brief period.

Cerys then joined Atradius in 2014 as a Product Development Assistant. Cerys'sresponsibilities included research, analysis, process improvements, and client relationship management.

In 2014, they also served as a Project Manager for the Welsh National Finance Conference, organizing a successful event for students interested in the finance sector.

Moving on, they joined GM Financial in 2015 as a Wholesale Analyst before transitioning to Principality Building Society. At Principality, Cerys held multiple roles from 2015 to 2020, including Assistant Mortgage Product Manager, Mortgage Retention Product Manager, and Product Initiatives Manager.

In 2020, they joined Unit4 as a Product Owner, and later became a Senior Product Manager. Cerys also worked as a Senior Product Manager at Thesis in 2021 before being promoted to the role of Principal Product Manager.

Cerys Owen has a diverse education history. Cerys completed a CIM Level 7 Marketing Leadership Programme at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing from 2022 to 2024, focusing on marketing leadership. Prior to that, they gained a CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing from the same institution between 2017 and 2018. Cerys also holds a Master's Degree in Financial Services Management obtained from the University of South Wales in 2014 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Aberystwyth University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013.

Cerys has also achieved the certification of CIM MCIM Member from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in August 2022.
