Niven McCall-Mazza

Niven McCall-Mazza serves as the Editor In Chief and Vice President of News at theSkimm since May 2017, bringing extensive editorial leadership experience. Prior roles at NBC News from January 2013 to May 2017 included Senior Editor, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of editorial logistics for multiple NBC News platforms, as well as assignment editor, focusing on overnight coverage and coordination of breaking news. Earlier career experiences include a Telecomms Assistant role with NBC Olympics and an internship with US Congress. Niven McCall-Mazza holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Marymount University, and has also studied at the University of Oxford and the University of Maryland.
