Axel Helmer

Axel Helmer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of medical IT and telehealth. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering and Head of the Engineering Department at Thieme Compliance GmbH, as well as CEO of Verika GmbH, Axel has a strong focus on training, consulting, and software development. Previous roles include Head of Development and Expert Medical Software at Deutsche Telekom Healthcare, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg and the Institute for, where innovative medical IT infrastructure and software architecture were implemented.
