Dagmawi Abera

Dagmawi Abera is an experienced electronics engineering intern at Thin Film Technology Corporation, focusing on the design and testing of passive electrical components. Dagmawi has demonstrated leadership as Chair of the IEEE Student Branch at Minnesota State University, Mankato, significantly increasing membership and organizing numerous events. Experience as a campus security student lead officer and a senator for the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology has further developed skills in safety management and student advocacy. Previous roles include a software engineering intern at Nordstrom, where Dagmawi enhanced search engine performance, and participation in the Asia World Model United Nations as a delegate for UNICEF-Ethiopia. Dagmawi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering at the same institution.
