Brian Flage

Brian Flage has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to the electric utility industry. Brian started their career at Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. in 1996 as a Regional GIS Coordinator, where they managed data projects for electric utilities across a 16-state region. Brian later joined Insulation For Life Ltd Co in 2001 as Vice President, where they operated a construction business focused on energy efficiency and building science. In this role, they successfully installed the Icynene Insulation System in numerous residential and commercial projects.

In 2008, Brian joined CoServ as a Vegetation Manager, responsible for selecting and managing contract companies, as well as improving program efficiency through data analysis. Brian later became the Reliability Manager at CoServ, leading strategies to improve service reliability and implementing a comprehensive reliability program that elevated the utility's ranking nationally.

Since 2017, Brian has been working at Think Power Solutions, where they have held multiple roles. As a Project Director, they provided utility consulting services in areas such as system reliability, vegetation management, and field data collection. Brian also worked as a Technology Solutions Manager, developing technology solutions for internal and client business processes. In their current role as a Business Analyst, Brian manages field service and technology clients, identifying opportunities to enhance customer processes using creative technology and field service solutions.

Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated strong expertise in utility consulting, technology solutions, project management, and data analysis in the electric utility industry.

Brian Flage attended Iowa State University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management. In addition to their degree, Brian Flage is also a Certified Arborist, certified by the International Society of Arboriculture.
