Waleed Alsobhi Ph.D.

Waleed AlSobhi, PhD, MBA, is an accomplished professional in data science and analytics, currently serving as the Head of Data and Analytics at THIQAH since January 2023 and as the Founder of a stealth startup since July 2023. Waleed is also an Impact Council Member for Fast Company Middle East. Previously, Waleed held leadership roles at The Saudi Investment Bank as Head of Data Science and AI and as a Data Scientist. Additional experience includes a position as Partner Success Manager at Tamara and various academic roles, including Teaching Assistant at King's College London and Data Science Consultant at Decoded. Waleed's educational background includes a PhD in Telecommunications Research from King's College London, an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, and a BEng in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Brunel University London.
