Scott Shaffer

Scott Shaffer has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Scott most recently worked at Third Wave Automation as a Solution Design Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Sr Application Engineer I at Seegrid from August 2020 to February 2023.

From January 2018 to August 2020, Scott worked at Marstrand Industries, Inc. as a Sales Engineer. Scott also has experience as a Project Manager at Forms+Surfaces from April 2017 to January 2018.

Earlier in their career, Scott was a Mechanical Proposal Engineer at Metso from May 2013 to March 2017. Scott gained valuable experience in the industry as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at both FMC Technologies and Phoenix Metal Fabricating, Inc. from May 2012 to November 2012 and from May 2011 to May 2012, respectively.

Scott Shaffer received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In May 2013, they also obtained the certification of Engineer in Training (EIT) from the Pennsylvania State Registration Board of Professional Engineers, through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs.
