Chamupathi Mendis began their career in 2014 as President of the Classical Music Society. In 2015 they became an Intern Software Engineer at CodeGen International. In 2017 they were appointed as a Software Engineer at GE Transportation, a Wabtec company, where they developed the Transport Management System. From 2018 to 2020 they were a Senior Software Engineer at BlimpIt, where they developed the web application, Android and iOS apps, and the main structure of the BlimpIt Retailer and Admin web. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Thirdfort Limited, where they are reducing risks to lawyers by automating identity verification, AML compliance and source of funds checks.

Chamupathi Mendis attended the University of Moratuwa from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Richmond College Galle from 1996 to 2009, where they obtained their High School degree. In addition, they obtained a Problem Solving (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank in September 2020.
