Devaraj Southworth is a seasoned executive with experience in eCommerce, payments, investments, and venture capital. Devaraj has held multiple roles spanning from Co-Founder and Board Director to Limited Partner and Venture Advisor. Theircareer began in 2002 at Worth Media as Director of Digital Strategy & Partnerships, where they were accountable for unprecedented revenue growth in business development role, creating new digital/social media strategy to increase page views/visitors to Worth. com. In 2004, they co-founded iThink Labs, a global interactive, media, and technology agency, and grew it to $10M in annual sales in less than five years. In 2011, they joined American Express as Vice President of eCommerce, Payments, and Investments, and was responsible for product strategy, building, managing, and developing digital partnerships and technology deployment. In 2012, they joined Tailfin Ventures as General Partner and in 2018, they became an investor in Hootsuite. In 2019, they became an investor and advisor at HALO Hydration, and in 2020, they became an investor and shareholder at Carta. In 2021, they joined the Forbes Technology Council as a Council Member for eCommerce, Payments.

Devaraj Southworth attended Brooklyn Technical High School from 1982 to 1986, where they studied Technology and Liberal Arts. From 1986 to 1990, they attended Ohio Wesleyan University and earned a BA in Organizational Psychology and Investigative Journalism. From 1990 to 1994, they attended Kansai Gaidai University and received a Fellowship in Economics, Business Management and Japanese. No additional certifications have been listed.
