Dima Gorenshteyn

Dima Gorenshteyn, PhD has extensive work experience in data science and machine learning. Currently, Dima serves as the Head of Machine Learning at Thirty Madison, where they are responsible for integrating machine learning and AI into the organization, leading MLOps initiatives, and implementing groundbreaking use cases using GenAI models. Prior to this role, Dima worked at Interos Inc as a Principal Data Scientist, where they played a pivotal role in transitioning R&D efforts to product development and utilized advanced ML techniques to enhance supply chain management.

Dima also has a significant background in the healthcare industry, having worked at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as the Associate Director of Applied Data Science. In this role, they developed infrastructure and processes for data science operations and used ML to advance patient care, including the development of models for early detection of chemotherapy toxicity and prediction of inpatient mortality. Dima also authored and published standards for responsible machine learning application in healthcare.

Before joining Memorial Sloan Kettering, Dima held various data science roles within the organization, including Lead Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist. Additionally, Dima has experience in creating and instructing data science content as a Data Science Content Creator & Instructor at DataCamp.

Earlier in their career, Dima worked as a Graduate Researcher in Quantitative & Computational Biology at Princeton University and as a Research Technician at Hunter College. They also gained industry experience as a Technology Audit Analyst at JP Morgan Chase.
