VP & Director Of Travel at Matrix

Bernard Mills has over 15 years of experience in customer experience and management roles in the aviation industry. Bernard started their career as a Customer Experience Manager at Qantas in 2006 and worked there for six years. Bernard then worked as a Manager of Brand & Inflight at Virgin Australia in 2013. Bernard joined Etihad Airways in 2014 as a Manager of Customer Experience for Business Class, and later moved to Alitalia Società Aerea Italiana S.p.A. in 2015 as a Senior Manager of Customer Service Delivery. In 2016, they returned to Etihad Airways as a Senior Manager of Customer Experience for the Midfield Terminal. Bernard then joined Cathay Pacific Airways in 2017 as the Head of Customer Experience, F&B, and Hospitality. Bernard worked there for four years before transitioning to a consulting role as a Senior Manager at PwC in 2021. Most recently, Bernard has been appointed as the Head of Experience at Lifestyle Communities Limited. In 2023, they will be joining Matrix as the VP & Director of Travel.

Bernard Mills completed their education from 2000 to 2004 at The Australian National University, where they earned a dual degree in B.Commerce and B. Asian Studies. Their studies focused on marketing, international relations, and Indonesian language.
