Hatem Safwat

Hatem Safwat is the current Head of Finance at Thndr. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Director - Corporate Banking Senior Credit Officer at CIB Egypt from November 2011 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for tailoring and structuring credit facilities, analyzing financial statements, forecasting and budgeting the team's loan portfolio, and teaching courses on credit and lending. Safwat also worked as a Credit Risk Analyst at Arab African International Bank from May 2010 to November 2011.

Hatem Safwat graduated with a BSc. in Management Technology from The German University in Cairo. Hatem also holds an American Diploma from Modern Education American School. In addition, they have a certification from CIB Egypt in Credit Course.
