John Malara

John Malara has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. John began their career as a Physician Assistant at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System in 2005. In 2012, they joined Jefferson Health as a Coordinator for Orthopaedics and progressively moved up in roles, including Manager of Orthopaedic Programs, Director of Orthopaedic Services, and Senior Director of Orthopaedic, Neurosurgery & Rehabilitation Services. Their most recent position at Jefferson Health was as Vice President of Hospital Operations at Jefferson - Torresdale.

John Malara received a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Western Governors University in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a master's degree in Health Sciences with a specialization in Physician Assistant from Drexel University between 2002 and 2005. John also holds a Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh, which they completed from 1999 to 2002.
