Stephen Thomas

Stephen Thomas serves as the Professor and Department Chair of Exercise Science at Thomas Jefferson University since July 2020, with previous roles including Chief Scientist at Avid Alexander and Associate Professor at Temple University. Thomas has extensive academic experience, having transitioned from Assistant Professor roles at both Temple University and Neumann University to postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania. Thomas holds a PhD in Biomechanics from the University of Delaware, a Master's degree in Athletic Training, and a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, all from Temple University, complemented by a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
