Thomistic Institute
Olivia Scarpo is a dedicated student and professional with a focus on mechanical engineering and leadership. Currently serving as the Chapter President at the Thomistic Institute since May 2024, Olivia also held the position of Humanities at Hertog Fellow at the Hertog Foundation in fall 2025. Previous experience includes a Quality Engineering Internship at Lockheed Martin, involvement with the Hamilton Center for Classical and Civic Education, and active participation in the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Olivia contributed significantly to the Swamp Launch Rocket Team as a Structural Designer and in various leadership roles, including Vice President Internal and Educational Engagement Director. Additionally, Olivia has worked as a Correspondent for Campus Reform and led social media initiatives as the UF Chapter Director of Social Media and Outreach for Turning Point USA. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, with earlier studies at the Academy of the Holy Names.
