Meghan Murphy

Meghan Murphy is a skilled Real Estate Associate Attorney with extensive experience in real estate transactions and law. Since January 2021, Meghan has been with Thompson Coburn LLP, following roles at Horwood Marcus & Berk Chartered and Pedersen & Houpt, where responsibilities included representing major owners in significant acquisitions, drafting and negotiating various commercial leases, structuring real estate secured loans, and conducting due diligence for property transactions. Earlier experience includes an internship with the Illinois Supreme Court, where Meghan summarized case arguments and provided recommendations, and a legal internship at The Walsh Group, focused on compliance audits and legal research related to construction and regulatory matters. Meghan holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Miami.
