Miguel Villarreal

Miguel Villarreal is an experienced Prototype Machinist with a strong background in CNC programming and machining. Currently employed at Thompson Precision since August 2022, Miguel programs, sets up, and runs CNC mills, optimizing processes from 3D CAD files. Previous roles include positions at Sandia National Laboratories, where programing involved maintaining a top-level security clearance and using Creo software, and multiple tenures at Google, focusing on high-quality cosmetic prototypes and CNC operations. With earlier experience as a Senior Model Maker at Stealth Space Company and various machining roles dating back to 1996, Miguel has developed extensive expertise in the industry, including training staff and building machine shops.
