Joseph Burns

Joseph Burns possesses extensive experience in structural engineering and architecture, currently serving as Managing Principal at Thornton Tomasetti since July 1995. Prior leadership roles include Midwest Chairman at RIBA-USA from 2009 to 2011, Director at LeMessurier Consultants from 1991 to 1995, and Associate Partner at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP from 1981 to 1991. Joseph Burns also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and worked as a Partner at Woolen Molzan & Partners.
