Scott Wood is a Vice President at Thornton Tomasetti, overseeing the Protective Design & Security practice in the Washington DC office since September 2015. With over 16 years of experience, Scott specializes in physical security design and assessments, collaborating with agencies such as the General Services Administration, Department of Defense, and Veteran Affairs on protective design projects for both secure and public facilities. Prior to this role, Scott served as a Structural Engineer at Weidlinger Associates, Inc., where expertise was focused on blast and progressive collapse analysis and design.
