Morgan O'Neill

Morgan O'Neill has extensive experience in compliance and data protection, currently serving as Director of Data Protection Services at Thorntons Law LLP since July 2019. Previously, Morgan held the position of Head of Compliance and Data Protection Officer at Spark Energy UK from November 2017 to July 2019, and regulatory compliance manager at TMX Finance Family of Companies from September 2015 to July 2017. Additional roles include compliance analyst at Forsyth Barr, AML project team member at Westpac, and legal examiner at Registers of Scotland. Starting out at KPMG UK as a restructuring executive, Morgan's educational background encompasses a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Strathclyde, a Master of Arts from the University of Glasgow, and an ILM Leadership & Management qualification from Jewel & Esk College. Morgan has also worked as a freelance fitness instructor between 2010 and 2015.
