Paul Carley

Paul Carley has extensive experience in finance and performance management, particularly in the retail industry. Paul started their career in 2006 at bp, where they held various roles such as Financial Analyst and Performance Management Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for financial analysis, reporting, and ensuring accurate accounting. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Retail Finance Manager for bp's North America Retail business, overseeing performance management processes and providing insights on financial outcomes. In 2021, they became the Senior Finance Manager for Planning and Performance Management in Mobility & Convenience Americas, leading a team of finance managers and analysts to provide analytical support and create reports. Currently, Paul is the Chief Financial Officer at Thorntons LLC, a subsidiary of BP, where they are responsible for overseeing the financial delivery of the business and preparing for integration with other BP Retail businesses.

Paul Carley received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rice University, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. Paul then pursued further education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance and Strategy between 2013 and 2015.
