Katie Waite

Katie Waite has a diverse work experience. Katie began their career in 2010 as a Brownie Leader for Girlguiding Midlands. In 2013, they took on two roles simultaneously, becoming an Independent Business Owner for Katie Waite Tuition and a Tutor for Explore Learning. Katie also worked as a Legal Intern for Martin Smith & Co that same year. In 2015, they participated in a Bank of England Insight Day as an Intern. From 2016 to 2019, they worked for Ladas & Parry LLP in various roles, including Trademark Attorney, Part Qualified Trade Mark Attorney, and Paralegal. In 2019, they became a Trademark Attorney for Trademark Eagle. In 2020, they joined TMOA - Trade Mark Owners Association as a Trademark Attorney and Business Development Coordinator. Currently, they are a Customer Sucess Manager for ThoughtRiver, which they began in 2022.

Katie Waite has an extensive education history. Katie attended Bushey Meads School from 2006 to 2013, where they studied Law. Katie then attended the University of Birmingham from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. In 2017, they attended Queen Mary University of London, where they obtained a PGCert Trade Mark Law and Practice degree in Intellectual Property Law. In 2018, they attended Nottingham Law School, where they obtained a Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice in Intellectual Property Law. In addition to their formal education, Katie Waite has obtained several certifications, including a Lexible Scholar Accreditation from ThoughtRiver in 2022, a Step Up Module - Suicide Awareness from Zero Suicide Alliance in 2020, a Certificate in Trade Mark Practice from Nottingham Law School in 2019, a Westlaw UK Advanced Certification from West law UK in 2015, a Certificate of Commercial Awareness from BPP in 2014, and an OFQUAL Emergency First Aid at Work from Ofqual in 2014.
