Manish Agarwal

Manish Agarwal is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at ThoughtSpot since May 2021, Manish leads various engineering teams along with the production engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) functions. Prior to this, Manish held notable positions including Head of Engineering for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) marketplace at Oracle from February 2019 to May 2021, where responsibilities included defining the vision and strategy for the product. Previous roles also include Director of Engineering at Striim.com, where Manish developed a scalable real-time stream processing platform, Principal Software Engineer at Apptio, and Software Development Manager at Amazon for EC2. Early career experiences encompass working at Amazon.com, Microsoft, and IBM Research Center, India. Manish holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
