Sonica Kalmangi

Sonica Kalmangi is a seasoned Data Engineer with extensive experience in building data pipelines and back-end APIs. Currently employed at Thoughtworks since July 2022, Sonica previously contributed to Lux Research from April 2019 to July 2022, focusing on developing research insight platforms using diverse data sources. Earlier experience includes a Data Science Intern position at Agero, Inc. in 2018, where Sonica worked on a machine learning project aimed at improving driver safety, and a tenure as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys (2011-2015), specializing in B2B middleware integration and large-scale distributed databases. Sonica holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from UMass Boston and a Bachelor of Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
