Mark S.

Mark S.'s work experience is as follows:

- Mark currently works at THREAD as a Senior Lead and Senior Software Engineer since December 2022.

- Prior to that, they co-founded Cedar Pine Consulting in January 2022. At Cedar Pine Consulting, Mark holds two contracts with non-profits where they provide custom software development, data cleanup and migration scripts, custom PHP application maintenance, dev ops, and business consulting services. Mark manages a team of four part-time independent contractors who provide design and data analytics services.

- From November 2021 to September 2022, Mark worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Latchel.

- Mark worked at 211 LA COUNTY from December 2020 to December 2021, first as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead, and then as a Software Engineer II. Mark was responsible for front-end architecture, database restructuring, data migrations, shell scripts, and backend work for React and NodeJS web applications, as well as maintaining legacy applications in custom PHP. Mark also collaborated with stakeholders and development teams to ensure project completion.

- From October 2018 to April 2019, Mark was a Front-End Developer at Hitachi Consulting, where they developed a responsive web app using Typescript, React, Bootstrap, and JSS. Mark integrated Adobe analytics tracking and built custom middleware for handling client sensitive information.

- In 2018, Mark worked as a Front End Developer at BeerYou during their early-stage funding phase.

- From October 2017 to December 2018, Mark worked as a Web Developer and Consultant at Hi Dev Mobile. Mark created a full stack data collection application and focused on the planning and testing phase of projects.

- Mark completed a Software Engineering Internship at Arup from June 2017 to September 2017. Mark worked on various web development projects, including creating a web tool for capturing 360 degree photos and optimizing and refactoring front-end code for internal and client applications.

- Prior to that, Mark worked as a self-employed Software Engineer from November 2016 to June 2017. Mark developed OurTrip, a platform for planning and sharing trips.

Mark S. began their education at Pasadena City College in 2011, where they studied Business/Managerial Economics. Mark then transferred to the University of Southern California in 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Pre-Law Emphasis. Mark completed their undergraduate education at USC in 2015.
