Ben Phillips is the Co-Founder & CTO at Thread. Ben has over fifteen years of experience in the tech industry and has held various leadership positions throughout their career.

Ben got their start in 2001 as a software architect for Inchima, one of the pioneers of online community software. Ben then went on to lead stats analysis and reporting for all advertising campaigns as the Lead Developer at Tangozebra from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they co-founded Playfire, which tracked gaming data to recommend games and connect friends who played similar games. Ben led the engineering team and grew the company to 1.5 million users before it was acquired by a games retail company in 2012.

Most recently, Ben has been working on Thread, a platform that helps you find and buy the best clothes for your style, body, and budget. Ben is passionate about using technology to make people's lives easier and more efficient.

Ben Phillips' educational career began with him attending the University of Southampton where they studied computer science and received their BSc. Ben then went on to attend Y Combinator, a school for entrepreneurs.
