Karthik Krishnapandi

Karthik Krishnapandi is the current Head of Product at Threado. Prior to Threado, Krishnapandi spent 7 years at Freshworks in various product management roles.

At Freshworks, Krishnapandi was part of the early product team that helped grow the company's revenue 10X in 2.5 years. Krishnapandi also built and launched the app marketplace and developer platform to enable product partnerships and offer complete solutions to customers. In addition, Krishnapandi increased the Mobile app MAU by 4X in one year.

Krishnapandi also lead product-led growth efforts at Freshworks, improving the self onboarding experience, reducing junk leads by 50% and building a customer churn detector system.

In their role as Senior Product Manager for Freshworks Data Science, Krishnapandi ideated, owned, and released a number of competitor-differentiating ML-based features that helped in closing out many enterprise deals. Krishnapandi also worked with the product head to build the data science team for Freshworks from scratch.

Finally, in their role as Senior Product Manager for Freshdesk, Krishnapandi lead one of the teams responsible for increasing the product depth and discovering new areas of revenue growth. In this role, Krishnapandi identified and prototyped the "field service management" module - the biggest new module added to Freshdesk in the last 3 years. Krishnapandi also lead the team responsible for shipping a newer version of the platform (SDK, APIs, Documentation, onboarding partners, etc) used by more than 1 lakh users worldwide.

Karthik Krishnapandi has a B.E in Electronics & Communication from the Coimbatore Institute of Technology. Karthik also has certification from Coursera in Machine Learning, Introduction to Psychology, and A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior.

They are on a team with Sharath Kuruganty - Head, Community, Shalini Nair Tekwani - Growth Lead, and Akshat Dhabi - Product Manager. Their manager is Pramod Rao, Co-Founder & CEO.
