Farhana Akhter

Farhana Akhter has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Farhana started their career as a Receptionist at PURE Spa & Beauty, where they handled administrative duties and provided excellent customer service. Farhana then moved on to become a Webshop Administrator, managing the ecommerce webshop and developing digital strategies for PURE Spa & Beauty. During this time, they also supervised summer interns and collaborated with an SEO agency for web optimization.

Farhana's next role was as a Digital Product Consultant for Barnard, where they coordinated a website redesign project and created a digital marketing plan. Farhana then worked as a Digital Product Consultant for Aston Leisure, setting up an online commerce shop and training employees on the platform.

Farhana joined Pixel Image Limited as a Product & Digital Strategist, where they provided strategic development and creative input for VR/AR and 3D technologies. Farhana also worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Sky, analyzing and developing functional data modeling for various systems.

Farhana then joined Merkle as a Lead Product Manager, focusing on extending applications and revamping designs for the Discovery Analytics Platform. Farhana later joined Burberry as a Product Manager, leading the core Digital Strategy of Personalization Services and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define personalization strategies.

After Burberry, Farhana joined Singulier as a Senior Product Manager, leading product and customer experience across private equity clients' digital portfolios. Farhana also advised the product development of Singulier's adjacent company, Hollis, and coached their product manager.

Currently, Farhana is working at Threads Styling as a Senior Product Manager. Farhana is responsible for scaling the sourcing business and portfolio of products, and has developed a team and target structure to achieve sourcing value goals.

Throughout their career, Farhana has demonstrated strong product management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Farhana Akhter obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Business Management from Heriot-Watt University, from the year 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification as a Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in April 2018.
