Nicholas Ferguson

Nicholas Ferguson has held two positions in the tech industry. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Senior DevOps Engineer at Vispero. In this role, they led efforts to modernize and unify the processes, tools, and infrastructure supporting a software engineering organization spanning four subsidiaries. Nicholas was responsible for the releases of multiple product lines and services, including JAWS, the number one screen reader and accessibility application for blind/low-vision users and Vispero's Online Home License Management Portal. Nicholas also integrated projects from four subsidiaries into a unified development and release framework. Additionally, they designed and led the development of an internal developer platform, a bespoke build automation framework, and the migration of most engineering services and infrastructure from traditional on-premises VMware clusters to highly available, elastic cloud resources. Currently, they are a DevOps Engineer at ThreatX, a position they have held since 2022.

Nicholas Ferguson attended St. Petersburg College from 2017 to 2020, where they earned an Associate of Science in Computer Information Technology. Nicholas is currently enrolled at Western Governors University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
