Vanessa Purcell

Vanessa Purcell currently serves as the Training Manager at Thredbo Resort, a position held since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Educational Enrichment Extension Teacher and Classroom Teacher at Snowy Mountains Grammar School, a Junior School - High Potential Learners educator at Central Coast Grammar School, and a Gifted & Talented Specialist at The King's School. Vanessa has also worked as the Leader of Learning - Enrichment Education and Middle School Coordinator at St Philip's Christian College - Gosford, and has held several teaching positions at Central Coast Grammar School and Macquarie Anglican Grammar School, where responsibilities included leading gifted education programs. Vanessa's teaching career began at the ACT Education Directorate. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education (Primary) from the University of Canberra, a Graduate Certificate of Gifted Education from UNSW, a Master of Education in Innovation and Change, and a Diploma of Nutrition from Torrens University Australia, with ongoing studies toward a Graduate Certificate in Education at QUT.
