Cora Buel

Cora Buel is currently the SVP of Finance and Treasury at thredUP. Cora has held this position since August of 2019. Prior to thredUP, they spent five years at SEPHORA as the Vice President of Finance for Sephora Americas. In this role, they were responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, strategy, consolidations & reporting, and treasury for 9 business units/channels.

Before their time at SEPHORA, Buel worked as the Investment Strategy Group Director for Macy's Selling Support Services from October 2000 to August 2014. Prior to Macy's, they were the Finance & Accounting Supervisor for Marketing at Robinsons-May from September 1999 to October 2000.

Buel began their career in 1998 as a Profit Improvement Coordinator at Lord & Taylor. Cora held this position until September 1999.

Buel has a long history of experience in finance and accounting. Cora has demonstrated their ability to provide strategic insight and guidance to operating committees, manage large budgets, deliver outstanding results year over year, and sustain leadership positions.

Cora Buel has a BA in Economics from New York University and Woodside High School.

They are on a team with and Popi Heron - VP, Corporate Controller. Cora Buel reports to Sean Sobers, CFO.
