Ron Bender, CFE

Ron Bender, CFE, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the franchise industry. Ron has held various leadership roles in franchise development, growth consulting, and brand development.

From 2021 to present, Ron served as the Chief Growth Officer - Interim at Threshold Brands, where they built relationships within the franchise community and helped candidates explore franchise ownership opportunities.

From 2019 to 2021, Ron worked as the International Master Franchising for EnviroLogik Sanitizing, Drain Line & Odor Control Franchise Opportunity. Here, they focused on providing eco-friendly sanitizing solutions to a wide range of businesses and facilitated the expansion of the franchise globally.

In their previous role at Future Focus Franchise Performance Consulting, from 2010 to 2021, Ron assisted franchises in attracting and educating top-performing candidates.

Prior to that, Ron held the position of VP of Franchise Development at Big Frog Franchise Group from 2015 to 2019. Ron was responsible for the entire franchise development process, including lead generation, franchisee relations, and trade shows.

Earlier in their career, Ron worked as the National Franchise Director at AlphaGraphics Franchise Development in 2014, where they designed and implemented a successful conversion and acquisition program.

From 2011 to 2012, Ron served as the VP of Brand Development at Franchise America Finance, mentoring franchise development executives and area developers.

Ron's career in the franchise industry began in 1998 at Wireless Zone - Verizon Wireless, where they held the role of VP of Franchise Development until 2010. Ron played a crucial role in expanding the franchise nationally and managing regional Verizon relationships.

Throughout their career, Ron has consistently demonstrated expertise in franchise development, strategic planning, lead generation, and fostering relationships within the franchise community.

Ron Bender, CFE has a diverse education history. Ron earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Sciences from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. In 1981 to 1982, Ron obtained a certificate in Sales and Communication from Dale Carnegie Sales. Additionally, in February 2010, they obtained the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) certification from the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives (ICFE).
